Musikproduzent und Soul-Komponist Norman Whitfield ist im Alter von 65 Jahren gestorben. Norman Whitfield war verantwortlich für Hits wie „Papa Was a Rollin’ Stone“ oder „I Heard It Through The Grapevine”. Für „Car Wash“ und „Papa Was a Rollin’ Stone“ bekam er jeweils einen Grammy.
